Tory Zawacki Roy
Born into a family of athletes in New Jersey, Tory Zawacki Roy began playing tennis at age 4, eventually traveling the world for junior and professional tennis, and earning All-America honors as a tennis player for Duke University.
Knowing sports was one of her love languages, Tory followed her passion into a career at ESPN, covering tennis and the NFL for nearly 20 years.
As a writer for ESPN.com and feature producer and reporter in ESPN's storytelling unit, Tory has had the opportunity to interview some of the biggest personalities in and around the sports world, from Novak Djokovic, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts, to Spike Lee and Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson.
Without sports, Tory wouldn't have met the true loves of her life, her husband Jason, and their kids Braxton, 6, and Sydney, 4, in Hoboken, NJ.
